laboratory was established simultaneously . The laboratory , which is equipped with a few devices and glassware where some chemical analyzes can be made in milk and its products, is organized to meet the needs of all technical programs today.
 

Technical programs, especially milk and its products, give some of the application courses in the laboratory . Applications of general microbiology, laboratory technique, milk examination and quality control courses, which are taught in the milk and products program, are carried out in the laboratory . Some of my milk analyzes are carried out in the laboratory in line with the requests of the dairy enterprises operating in the Biga region .
 

The laboratory is being developed day by day by equipping it with sensitive devices in order to carry out routine microbiological and chemical analyzes. It will create a ready infrastructure both to meet the needs of technical programs and to meet the laboratory needs of programs such as food technology to be established. In addition, our instructors will be able to continue
their scientific studies in the laboratory if they wish. 

In order to increase the knowledge and skills of milk and dairy products students, a dairy workshop with a daily milk processing capacity of 500 kg was established on the Biga Vocational School campus . Mainly yoghurt and ayran are produced here, and optionally, cheese, cream and butter are also produced.
 

Two dairy technicians are employed permanently in our workshop. In addition, second-year students of the dairy and products program have the opportunity to develop and apply the theoretical knowledge they have learned in the lessons by participating in production on certain days according to the lesson programs . Here, besides the application of technology lessons, the importance of milk microbiology and sanitation is explained practically.
 

Since there is limited production, our products are marketed to mass consumption units. In this regard, the cafeterias and canteens of faculties and colleges affiliated to our university and the requests of our university personnel are primarily met. It prefers our products in establishments that serve food to factories.
